Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOC

This easy-going, easy-growing east coast grape just wants to have a good time. Ripe red cherry on the nose, with medium body; but this wine keeps the finish smooooth.
Pour a glass, put on some James Brown and dance around your kitchen; or pair it with some pork chops for a stress-free Wednesday dinner.

The famous region of Abruzzo lies between the Adriatic Sea and the Gran Sasso mountain range. Cooling sea breezes and rocky mountain soils make for ideal conditions to grow grapes. Montepulciano is the most well-known red grape variety of the Abruzzo region. It produces medium bodied red wines, full of ripe fruity flavours and mellow tannins.
